Good Puppy Paradise Program

 

The four-month Good Puppy Paradise Program prepares your doodle to be obedient, child-friendly, travel-ready, leash-trained, and completely house-broken.

Now that your puppy is four months old and has matured, Already Trained Australian Labradoodle's skilled training repetitively addresses unwanted behaviors in our puppies and repetitively encourages socialization to achieve friendliness, good manners with people and dogs, and calmness (supported by exposure to classical music). You will be able to take your dog to pet-friendly restaurants, stores, shopping centers, and schools, as well as nursing homes or your own workplace.

The commands your puppy will have mastered:

  • 100% Potty Trained

  • Expertly Leash Trained

  • Sit

  • Come

  • Stay

  • Go to bed (crate trained)

  • Wait

  • Off

  • Down

  • This way (maneuvering in a crowd)

These commands are Canine Good Citizen test standards. Your puppy will also be microchipped and up to date on age-appropriate core vaccinations.

If you are seeking a well-trained doodle for your home or a doodle that has a great foundation for therapy or service work, this training program is for you. Our doodles are well-trained in good manners and obedience and are highly socialized. They begin their training at a young age, giving them excellent listening skills. This training program will not only benefit you at home, it will also be a pleasure for you to share your well-trained doodle in your community. While most of our doodles serve in homes as devoted companions, many of our clients further their doodle's training so that they may serve in their communities in various ways:

  • Calming stressed travelers in airports

  • Office comfort dogs

  • Serving in classrooms to comfort students

  • Serving in the medical professions as comfort dogs

This specialized training, combined with our doodles' sweet faces, soft, non-shedding coats, lack of doggy odor, and gentle, loving spirit, is why our training program has been a win-win for our clients and our doodles!

Our training program is accomplished without using treats. We have found that puppy obedience is learned most successfully through gentleness, patience, and praise. We also know that, while a puppy is growing rapidly and its brain is developing quickly, it needs lots of rest. So your puppy's time will be spent playing, training, eating, eliminating, being loved, and getting appropriate time for rest. 

All of this happens in the loveliest surroundings; there are no concrete kennel runs. It is a beautiful, clean facility indoors and out. We provide multiple shady play yards with artificial turf. Puppies have an abundance of safe playtime chew toys, and my staff of ardent dog lovers is well-trained and responsible. 

Our commitment to your puppy's training is paramount! When you pick them up, I pass the torch on to you. When you depart with your graduate doodle, you will receive a professional instructional video of your doodle performing its learned commands, along with information with easy-to-follow tips to help you continue to succeed with your "fur-ever" friend. Your doodle will receive a gift bag with premium products, including a starter bag of puppy food. We feed our pups the best food available to us and know you'll do the same.

At the end of the Good Puppy Paradise Program, you will sign a contract that ensures your puppy has been spayed/neutered no later than eight months of age.
